re: How a 19-yr-old influences 200.000 people/day.

I'm Tolunay. I influence 200.000 people/day. I'm 19 years old. That's how I earn a major part of my income.

5 months ago I founded my Instagram page WeAreStoa.

3 Months ago I reached 450.000 followers.

That’s 10 Travis Scott concerts.

It took 2 months.

How? How does a 19-year-old reach 450.000 followers in 58 days?

If a 19-year-old can do it while traveling, can you do it too? Maybe.

As soon as you understand, that human beings are naturally selfish, and that this is nothing negative at all but more an opportunity, you’ll have an unfair advantage over others.

1G Of W33d And An Impulse Idea.

Before overcomplicating stuff, I want to make something clear:

I didn’t study this shit whatsoever before I started.

One of my friends, Pharrell was completely high on something when he told me:

“Bro you’re looking ripped as hell, ever thought about starting an Instagram to become some kind of fitness influencer?“

So I did. Simple as that.

A month later, we started Project 50: A challenge concluding 7-rules you must follow for 50 consecutive days to win.

  • rule 1: wake up before 8 a.m. Sleep at least 6 hours and try to maintain a consistent bed routine. ...

  • rule 2: create a morning routine. ...

  • rule 3: exercise. ...

  • rule 4: read 10 pages a day. ...

  • rule 5: dedicate 1 hour towards new skill. ...

  • rule 6: eat healthy. ...

  • rule 7: track your progress.

We added

  • rule 8: No drugs, no alcohol.

He stopped the weed, I stopped drinking. Never looked back

Now rule 5 was the game changer. I dedicated 1 hour of my day to a new skill:

Social media.

I founded my personal account @Tolu.naay, which is now at 180.000 followers.

around 13 months later, WeAreStoa was founded.

1 hour quickly became 2, increasing to 3, and 14 months later, I spent 12 hours a day on this shit, while locking myself in a hotel in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur for 30 days without seeing any friends whatsoever.

I was alone in Malaysia and I loved every single second of it.

That’s what it took. 1g of w33d and an impulse idea.

That’s what changed my life. No plan.

I took action. You didn’t.

That’s what distinguishes me from you.

Consumer < Creator

2 months in, when WeAreStoa went viral, I received dozens of DMs from people, who live better lives without their phones because of my content.

What hit me hard was a father of 2 daughters, who texted me, that for the first time in months, he could spare time to play with his daughters after work because he saved 3 hours/day on screen time.

As I grew up with a single mother, I got a bit emotional there ngl.

That’s the power behind being a creator.

Believe it or not, you as a creator control the masses.

You and many other creators together. You control opinions, you control knowledge, and you spread ideas, emotions, movements, and education.

You can change lives (or ruin them).

Biggest Lesson.

Business/social media is a game of values.

Pretty simple:

Provide value (service/product), receive value (money) back.

Got no valuable knowledge? Sell your time. Become an editor

Don’t wanna sell your time? Get more valuable knowledge.

Got valuable knowledge? Manage Social media pages, consult people/busineses, sell coatings and courses.

There’s nothing wrong with making a whole lot of f*ck you money through courses as long as you provide value for it.

If you charge $100, make sure you would pay $1.000 for it.

Whatever your course or coaching is about, make sure, that it’s worth a lot more, than what you ask for.

In the end, people invest their money into you and you wanna make sure they get a lot in return.

Otherwise, you are simply… Invaluable.

How can I help you?
